‘Persona 4′ Anime in Development

Seems that the world of Persona is once again dipping into television anime world.

Atlus’ Persona 4 will be getting the full anime treatment. Japanese production company Aniplex confirmed that there will be a television anime adaptation of Persona 4. It also appears that it’ll be a project that contains a lot of key personnel from the game.

Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats, My Bride is a Mermaid) is directing the project at AIC ASTA. Persona Concept Designer Kazuna Kaneko and Original Character Designer Shigenori Seejina are will work on the anime adaptation, as will game composer Sheji Mejuro.

The adaptation will also retain some key voice actors and actresses, including: Daisuke Namikawa (Yu Narukami), Showtaro Morikubo (Yosuke Hanamua), Yui Horie (Chie Satonaka), and Ami Koshimizu (Yukiko Amagi).

In 2006, Persona 3 served inspiration for the anime Persona-trinity Soul- television anime.
