Monty Python Reuniting For New Film

As a gigantic Monty Python fan, this is the best news imaginable so far in 2013. Variety is reporting that the five surviving members of Monty Python will be reuniting for a new film directed by fellow Python Terry Jones called Absolutely Anything.

The film will be a CGI/live-action hybrid film in which a group of aliens give a human the power of God. Robin Williams is set to star as a dog named Dennis.

The Pythons have not appeared on screen together since 1983’s The Meaning of Life, so this is gigantic news for Python fans.
